About dean&david

After more than 2 years of development the idea of dean&david – a concept made in Germany – was launched by David Baumgartner with the slogan “fresh to eat”. The success story began in 2007 with the first Salad Bar in Munich’s Schellingstrasse, and has since expanded around the world. Freshness and quality are are dean&davids top priority. Their dishes combine enjoyment and quality with healthy, light food. The secret of dean&david lies in the details. As a result, they only use the freshest ingredients that are free from flavour enhancers, colors or preservatives – simple, healthy food prepared by hand!

About the project

Based on Dean and Davids key values, we created a small redesign on the visual branding. Strategically self-confident, emphatic, courageous and vivid, there was a visual appearance needed which covers the same principles. Dean and David got a logo re-design with two different font styles to assure a flexible usability in various use-cases. In addition they got an extended corporate typeface, -colors and a modular pattern.
