Rafael Bernardo is a German-Brazilian typographer, graphic designer and founder of the eponymous studio for branding communication. He grew up in the Caribbean, lived in California, studied at the Royal Academy of Arts in The Hague and graduated from HfG Schwäbisch Gmünd. He has taught typography at universities, co-founded his first design-studio in 2009 and founded the new one in 2017.

Resetting his professional identity as a designer, he started the personal project »Be Water my Friend«. A quote, that initiated an ongoing creative journey, bringing forth an output of personal and collaborative projects, exhibitions and festival installations. A statement, that triggered the inspiration to explore structures, functionalities and holistic relations between context, motivation and process. A fascination, that lead to the elaboration of a methodology to analyze workflows of teams and individuals and train creative mindsets.

Studio for Motion, Photography and Film. Kenneth Fraunhofer has developed many projects in the area of fashion, brand communication and advertising. We are working close together since over 15 years and realized already numerous award winning projects.

CouchTec is pioneer at web based infrastructure-, automation- and software-solutions with document based open source databases. The company is developing ready to run web applications for industrial, commercial and finance business. This includes webapplications like portals, billing-systems, processing-systems and other complex business requirements. We do our nerdy stuff with them since several years :)
